Terms and refunds
Plain terms for a small app. By buying or using Current, you agree to them.
Your license
When you buy Current, you get a personal, one-time license for one Mac. Activation is tied to the email address used for the purchase and one device. Every 1.x update is included. You may not resell, share or redistribute your license or the app. If you replace your Mac, contact support to move the activation.
Price
Current costs $3 for the first 100 licenses, then $7.99. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, plus any sales tax your country requires.
Refunds
If Current isn’t right for you, email hello@currentmac.com within 14 days of buying and you’ll get a full refund.
Other people’s apps
Current installs updates published by other developers. It checks that each update is signed by the same developer as your copy and notarized by Apple, but it doesn’t make those apps, and we aren’t responsible for what they do. Your use of each app is still governed by that app’s own license.
No warranty
Current is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, and it keeps your old version until the new one passes its checks, but we can’t promise it will be error-free or that every update will succeed. Keep backups of anything that matters, for example with Time Machine.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Current. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don’t take away a license you’ve already bought.
